Windows 95/98 Setup Walkthrough
Open up "My Computer", then open "Dial-Up Networking".
Then open "make new connection".Open up "make a new connection".
Type in any name you want for the connection name (ie:realwebsurf),
select your modem, and push next.(Please note;if your modem is not listed
you will need to install a working modem before proceeding)
Type in the local access phone number that you will be using
(this is the local access number that you can get by using the
access numbers link at www.realwebsurf.com) and then click next,
and then finish.Right mouse click on the new connection and
click on properties.Make sure the "use country and area code" box
is unchecked.Select the "server types" tab and make it make sure the
Enable Software Compression and TCP/IP boxes are checked.click on the
"TCP/IP Settings" box and make sure the Server Assigned IP Server Assigned
Address boxes are checked.Then click ok.Right mouse click on the new
connection and click create shotcut to desktop.
You are now ready to access the internet by double clicking on the
realwebsurf icon on your desktop or use your internet explorer.
